
Nokia has today launched its lowest ranked device in the Xseries line-up in the form of the bold, bright and very loud Nokia X1-00. This music lovers’ handset sports a huge speaker on the back of the device rated at 106 phon, apparently enough volume to rattle your window frame. With an estimated retail price of around €35 EUR, the Nokia X1 will be available in select markets in April. Hit the jump to find out more.

The Nokia X6 received a new minor firmware update taking it up from v30.0.003 to v31.0.004. The new update brings a few improvements with updated maps, and more general improvements in terms of performance and usability. Check out the changelog after the break.

The Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type is described by Nokia as “The Best of Both Worlds”, as it allows both touchscreen and keypad fans to enjoy the device equally. This new way of interacting with your device makes the entire experience extremely enjoyable, especially for things like gaming, texting and web surfing. Nokia’s Ovi Store is continuing its substantial growth month-by-month and continuing to break personal records. Today Nokia announced that the Ovi Store is currently serving up 3.5 million downloads per day. That’s a staggering 40 downloads per second, and up from 3M in November, and 2.3M in October.
