
The Nokia Beta Labs recently released Nokia Big Screen for Symbian^3 devices. Nokia Big Screen allows Symbian^3 users to share media on their Nokia N8, and soon to be released Nokia E7, in High Definition on any HDTV, turning the handset into a portable home entertainment media hub. Battersea based boxer Wole puts the Nokia N8 through its paces as he makes the smartphone work out as hard as he does. Winner of BBC’s ‘The last man standing’, Wole is aiming to walk away with the Super heavyweight gold medal at the 2012 Olympics. Nokia also followed the band ‘Kill it kid’ as they toured around the UK using Ovi maps on the Nokia N8 to navigate their way around. During rehearsal, the band make use of their Nokia N8 to capture 12MP images and 720p HD video to prepare for live gigs. As the band tour the country with limited space and time, they use the Nokia N8 smartphone to send updates to their fans on Facebook and Twitter replacing the need for a computer. With his only chance to get the perfect shot, Brett captures vital footage in 720p HD resolution with the Nokia N8. Using the built in editing suite, Brett cuts his celebrity footage into perfect video clips on the go. A little sooner than we expected, but here it is, the third and final part of the Nokia N8 video review by Nokia. In this video, Chris Bennetts takes us through the Nokia N8‘s multimedia features, focusing more on the music and video side of things. He also gives a quick demo of the HDMI TV-Out feature, and explains how it can also be controlled using practically any bluetooth remote. Does this include the PS3 joypad?
