 The Nokia Review Will Be At Nokia World 2010 In London

Last week, the kind people over at WOMWorld sent us the much anticipated invite to attend the worlds biggest Nokia event – Nokia World 2010. This year Nokia World is in London, at the International Convention Centre ExCel, and will commence on Tuesday 14 September over two days. We’ll be keeping you up to date with all the news as and when it happens so make sure you stay tuned by following us @TheNokiaReview on Twitter. There has already been a lot of device leaks and so we’re sure there will be much explaining to do by Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo when he hits the stage at 9.00 am on Tuesday morning. Check out this video preview of some cool apps incoming for the Nokia N900. The demoed apps include 3D Roller Coaster, a game that really shows off the potential of the Nokia N900, with some amazing 3D graphics. There is also Zen Bound, another 3D game coming soon to the Ovi Store. After releasing the Nokia Messaging for Social Networks Beta 1 earlier in September, Nokia Beta Labs has already pushed out an update for the service. Beta 2 has now added support for Twitter, making tweeting even more convenient from the homescreen of your Nokia handset. Other new features include the ability to upload pictures and videos to Facebook, log events (view upcoming events, birthdays and import to device calendar), search for friends, and click-to-call / click-to-SMS / click-to-Facebook message.

Good news for Twitter fans as UK mobile phone operators will now be able to offer an official SMS Retweet Service, so you can share the Twitter love on the go. Not long after the official retweet function was put into beta testing by Twitter itself, Vodafone is now allowing you to simply text the short number 86444 to retweet the last thing a user wrote. You need to text “RT” plus the Twitter username for it to work, for example, you can retweet the latest post from @TheNokiaReview by simply texting “RT TheNokiaReview” to 86444.
