Here’s a couple of video demo’s from Qt at Mobile World Congress2011 in Barcelona. First up is Qt’s WebKit integration and some HTML5 apps. Secondly Qt showcases it’s potential when it comes to NFC, utilizing an app created be Digia called ShopWizer on a Nokia C7. Hit the jump for the demo’s.

We previously discussed the future of Symbian & Meego in the new strategic alliance between Nokia and Micrsoft, but what about the Qt developer push Nokia was engaged in. Since the Windows Marketplace will become the one-stop-shop for apps on future Nokia devices powered by Windows Phone OS, and has it’s own set of developer tools, what will be of Qt? Nokia has proudly announced a joint venture with Pearson, the world’s leading education company, to accelerate the growth of MobilEdu, a premier mobile phone-delivered education service, developed by Nokia in China. Launched in China in 2007, MobilEdu provides wireless learning directly to your device. One part of the learning solution focuses on environmental awareness. During its first six months, MobilEdu attracted 300,000 users in China and there are still 5,000 more people using it every day. By the beginning of 2008 the environmental content had been downloaded 1.2 million times.
