
Nokia has today launched its lowest ranked device in the Xseries line-up in the form of the bold, bright and very loud Nokia X1-00. This music lovers’ handset sports a huge speaker on the back of the device rated at 106 phon, apparently enough volume to rattle your window frame. Digia has announced that it is set to acquire the Qt commercial licensing and services business from Nokia. Through the proposed acquisition, around 3500 desktop and embedded customer companies from various industries are targeted to be transferred to Digia, with the transaction expected to close by the end of March 2011.
