Turkcell and Nokia today announced that they are to bring Nokia Messaging to Turkcell customers in Turkey. By the end of Q2 2010, Turkcell customers are expected to be able to enjoy the Nokia Messaging push email service, which will allow them to have up to 10 personal email accounts pushed directly to their Nokia device such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Windows Live Hotmail.
With a great user experience, an aggressive global rollout plan and a focus on local relevance, Nokia felt that it was time to commend some of the key milestones the Nokia services have achieved. Taking a look at some of the Ovi services, there has already been more than three million Ovi Maps downloaded to date, the average person using Comes With Music downloads 500 free songs in the first few weeks of using the service, which would cost about EUR 450 from iTunes, and the Ovi Store experiences more than one million downloads a day. After releasing the Nokia Messaging for Social Networks Beta 1 earlier in September, Nokia Beta Labs has already pushed out an update for the service. Beta 2 has now added support for Twitter, making tweeting even more convenient from the homescreen of your Nokia handset. Other new features include the ability to upload pictures and videos to Facebook, log events (view upcoming events, birthdays and import to device calendar), search for friends, and click-to-call / click-to-SMS / click-to-Facebook message.

Accessible through the Nokia Messaging Chat application, people worldwide can have multiple conversations simultaneously, change their status and personal messages, and manage their Windows Live buddy lists straight from their homescreen.
Orange Poland and Nokia announced today that they will bring Nokia Messaging, Nokia’s consumer push email service, to their Nokia customers. Starting from November 17, 2009, Orange Poland mobile customers are the first in Poland to get access to Nokia Messaging which supports all leading global consumer email solutions such as Gmail, Windows Live Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, Ovi Mail as well as local internet and email service providers such as Wirtualna Polska, Onet.pl, Interia, o2, home.pl and others.
