The default calendar widget for the Nokia N97 homescreen is a very poor solution considering the real estate available. Although it displays your next event or meeting, it only supports one notification and defeats the object of having a widget, as you have to open the calendar application regularly to view your upcoming events. Well, thanks to Michael Prager’s ComingNext, it is now possible to display 4 notifications in a single widget. ComingNext is a calendar homescreen widget for the Nokia N97 that sports a dual panel mode, where each panel can display up to 4 upcoming events. The widget can be customized to your needs easily and pulls out details from you default calendar to display directly on your homescreen.
