The Nokia N8 was announced yesterday with its impressive (to say the least) spec sheet. The device is a complete upgrade of a Nokia smartphone as we know it and is exactly what Nokia needed. The Nokia N8 brings the familiarity of Nokia’s much loved Symbian platform into a whole new age with Symbian^3. This is just a small portion of the new technology this device is packing, but before we go into that, let’s take a quick look at some of its more obvious features, mainly being the 12 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera that sports HD video recording at 720p. We’ve got some sample photos to share with you along with a short clip recorded solely with the Nokia N8, which has not been enhanced or tweaked in any way, and the quality is simply faultless!

The new firmware brings many updates and improvements to your Nokia N86, including updated versions of Nokia Messaging, Ovi Store, and preloaded maps data along with the new Ovi Maps v3.3 with free voice guided turn-by-turn navigation. New firmware updates also contain more general bug fixes and optimizations necessary for the software on your device to perform properly, therefore we recommend you always keep your device up to date. The Nokia N86 8MP is still Nokia’s current camera flagship device, with its 8 megapixel CMOS sensor and variable aperture that challenges standalone digital cameras. The fast mechanical shutter ensures shorter latencies and less motion blur and processing times have been more than halved in comparison with many other camera phones.
