Nokia’s recent collaboration with Intel has spawned a new era of mobile computing. With MeeGo, users will be able to take advantage of a completely open platform with spectacular UI experiences. During the Computex keynote, Intel demoed the rumoured MeeGo Tablet, which not only looks promising, but really pushes the bar higher in terms of user experience. The Quanta Redvale tablet is powered by an Intel 1.5 Ghz Moorestown processor with a 10 inch touchscreen. The UI is what’s important here, as any manufacturer will be able to design their own tablet and pack it with the MeeGo goodness, and with an SDK for application development expected to be available later in the summer, developers will be able to to churn out some fantastic software soon too.
