Firefox brings some really nice touches to your Nokia N900 – The Awesome Bar makes it a breeze to search your history, bookmarks and tags, and go to your favourite sites instantly. You can also share your Firefox preferences, history, and bookmarks between your desktop PC and your Nokia N900. Not to mention the one-touch bookmarking. And of course, there are also the famous Firefox add-ons that let you customise your browser, as well as Tabs so you can browse multiple sites at once.
Check out this video preview of some cool apps incoming for the Nokia N900. The demoed apps include 3D Roller Coaster, a game that really shows off the potential of the Nokia N900, with some amazing 3D graphics. There is also Zen Bound, another 3D game coming soon to the Ovi Store. Finally there is a quick look at the recently announced, final release of Firefox for N900, where if you keep your eyes pealed, you’ll see The Nokia Review at work. Video after the break, enjoy.
Firefox has just announced that Firefox for Mobile is now available for Nokia’s Maemo platform after only a day or two of the RC3 release. Nokia N900 owners will now be able to customise their mobile web using the add-ons features and tabbed browsing, just like the desktop browser. You can find the complete list of features after the break.
The Nokia N900, thanks to the Mozilla based web browser, is the most powerful Internet tablet/mobile phone on the market today. In this demo you can see SVG & Canvas capabilities on the Nokia N900.
Mozilla is getting even closer to releasing the final version of Firefox for Maemo devices (Fennec). Fennec is now in beta 5, which means it won’t be too long before the final variant of the mobile browser is officially released. Firefox for Mobile comes complete with favorite and familiar features that you enjoy on your desktop. The Awesome Bar searches your history, bookmarks and tags to go to your favorite sites instantly. You can easily share your Firefox preferences, history, and bookmarks between your desktop and mobile. You can install add-ons to make your browser your own, and tabbed browsing allows you to browse multiple sites, all at the same time.
