
Rafe Blanford was lucky enough to visit Nokia’s Espoo (Helsinki) offices, and had the opportunity to look around Nokia’s Experience Lounge which showcased all of Nokia’s latest products and services. Within the Experience Lounge, Nokia had set up most of its Ovi services, along with a huge collection of nearly all the handsets and accessories ever made by the Finnish giants. It reminds you of how game-changing Nokia were, with most of the technology in the devices appearing way ahead of its time. Do you remember how many of these you owned? Nokia’s Everyone Connect campaign was based around a new Nokia Messaging solution that lets you email, chat and connect with your favourite social networking sites instantly from your device. This new service was rolled out on three brand new, messaging-centric devices, the Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and the Nokia E5. The question was then posed as to how you use your device to stay connected. The second device unveiled today was the Nokia C6, a Symbian S60 5th Edition smartphone combining the benefits of a 3.2 inch touch screen with a full slide out keyboard. The large screen provides a great Internet experience, as well as offering access to Facebook feeds directly on the homescreen. A full suite of email and social networking capabilities means that the Nokia C6 is perfect for people who want to stay up to date while on the go. At £195 before taxes and subsidies, the Nokia C6 can not only be your social hub, but also provide you with complete voice guided navigation whilst on the go straight out of the box.

The mystery Everyone Connect countdown finally ended today and the curtains were drawn back revealing three new Nokia devices. First up is the Nokia C3, which is the first Symbian S40 6th Edition device to sport a full QWERTY keypad. This cute little candybar is also the first in the range to enable access to social networks directly from the homescreen. You can view, comment, update your status and even share pictures to your favorite social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. At an estimated price of £80, before taxes and subsidies, the Nokia C3 is definitely going to shake things up by setting a high standard for such low costs.

The CeBIT Global Conferences are underway in Hannover, Germany, and Nokia has kicked off with the revelation of its Cseries portfolio. The Nokia C5 is the first Cseries device to be announced and is designed to cater for those looking for a cheap smartphone with heavy social networking capabilities. If you fit the bill, you will also be delighted to learn that the Nokia C5 is estimated to retail for around £125 before taxes and subsides.
