Nokia Comes With Music To Become Ovi Music Unlimited In The UKby Ibrahim Jogee in News, Press, ServicesAs a Nokia Comes with Music user, I received an email today announcing that the Comes with Music service will soon become a part of Ovi and will be titled Ovi Music Unlimited. ”With a new name and a sleek new look that is easier to use, with Ovi Music Unlimited you’ll still have access to millions of free tracks, plus, a faster, easier way to browse, search and download music.” India has already seen this transition from Comes with Music to OMU (Ovi Music Unlimited), as have a few others, and it seems that Nokia is continuing to re-brand its Comes with Music services with UK consumers.

The demonstration shows how a consumer can download Nokia content like music or videos directly onto a device easily with this novel technology. The file transfer of a music album took less than ten seconds. Very impressive indeed. Now its just a matter of squeezing this technology into the device so consumers can do the same at home. Nokia Passes Key Milestones As Services Business Continues Strong Momentumby Ibrahim Jogee in News, Press, ServicesWith a great user experience, an aggressive global rollout plan and a focus on local relevance, Nokia felt that it was time to commend some of the key milestones the Nokia services have achieved. Taking a look at some of the Ovi services, there has already been more than three million Ovi Maps downloaded to date, the average person using Comes With Music downloads 500 free songs in the first few weeks of using the service, which would cost about EUR 450 from iTunes, and the Ovi Store experiences more than one million downloads a day. Nokia Announces The 5235 Comes With Music Editionby Ibrahim Jogee in Handset, News, Press
Nokia has announced the 5235 Comes With Music but this time without the XpressMusic branding. The Nokia 5230 has a 3.2 inch resistive touch display (resolution of 640×480 pixels), a basic 2 megapixel camera (without flash), a built in A-GPS receiver, and boasts 18 days of standby time via the 1320mAh battery. The Nokia 5235 is expected to be available for around €145 EUR before taxes and will begin shipping in the first quarter of 2010. |
