Yesterday we brought you the news of a Nokia’s Windows Phone Concept image that appeared around the web, and gave an idea of what future devices from NokMsft could look like. Well, at the press conference last night at Mobile World Congress, Nokia officially unveiled some high resolution images of these concepts. Hit the jump to check them out.

Engadget has released some stunning images of a proposed Nokia Windows Phone 7 Concept design which have been put together after the recent partnership announcement. Nokia has made it very clear that Windows Phone will become Nokia’s primary smartphone OS, so heres a small glimpse as to what Nokia could have in store for us in the future.

The world’s largest handset manufacturer and world’s largest chipmaker collaborate and introduce Maego. In a significant development in the convergence of communications and computing, Intel Corporation and Nokia are merging their popular Moblin and Maemo software platforms. This will create a unified Linux-based platform that will run on multiple hardware platforms across a wide range of computing devices, including pocketable mobile computers, netbooks, tablets, media phones, connected TVs and in-vehicle infotainment systems. Called MeeGo, the open software platform will accelerate industry innovation and time-to-market for a wealth of new Internet-based applications and services and exciting user experiences. MeeGo-based devices from Nokia and other manufacturers are expected to be launched later this year.

Nokia has finally put the rumours to rest, with the announcement that it will be in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress 2010, however it won’t be attending the event. Nokia has decided to host a party of it’s own, as an alternative to all the noise and crowds of MWC, where guests will have the opportunity to discuss Nokia solutions and services along with fellow peers in a more relaxed environment, with delicious food and drinks served in the comfort of sofas.
