
Last week, the kind people over at WOMWorld sent us the much anticipated invite to attend the worlds biggest Nokia event – Nokia World 2010. This year Nokia World is in London, at the International Convention Centre ExCel, and will commence on Tuesday 14 September over two days. We’ll be keeping you up to date with all the news as and when it happens so make sure you stay tuned by following us @TheNokiaReview on Twitter. There has already been a lot of device leaks and so we’re sure there will be much explaining to do by Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo when he hits the stage at 9.00 am on Tuesday morning. Nokia is giving away twelve brand new Nokia N8‘s each with a ticket to Nokia World 2010 in London. At the Intel Developer Forum in Beijing in April 2010, the new software platform MeeGo was demonstrated on a variety of Internet connected devices from a netbook to Internet TV to smartphone and digital coupon machine with RFID. MeeGo 1.0 is the first version that comes from merging Intel’s Moblin and Nokia’s Maemo, so check out the videos after the jump to see what kind of things you can expect from MeeGo in the near future.

Check out this AAVA Reference Design, running on a QT based UI, which is the frame work for the upcoming MeeGo OS. The demo is showcased on AAVA’s Moblin 2.1 smartphone, and is just a glimpse at what’s yet to come from Nokia. Hopefully it won’t be too long before we get to see some real Nokia demos of it’s new Mobile Computing OS. Video after the break.
