
Nokia today released a short teaser to what seems to be an event taking place at SXSW 2011 in Austin, Texas. Clearly involving Angry Birds, the event is set to take place at The Belmont Stage on Saturday 12th March at 9pm. Check out the trailer after the break.

WomWorld Nokia kindly dropped off a Nokia E7 in the post today, and I have to say, this has been one of the more exciting devices we’ve had the pleasure of getting our hands on. But before we get stuck in, check out this awesome custom packaging the handset came in, complete with a quote from my initial hands on demo and signed by none other than Stephen Elop himself. Symbian^3 devices such as the Nokia N8, C7 and E7, all bring multiple homescreens to your Nokia handset, allowing you to customise the look of your device and have the apps and services you want instantly at the flick of a finger. Currently all these devices only support up to three homescreens, however the Symbian community have cooked up a version that allows you to have up to six homescreens, along with some other cool features. Nokia has announced that Sebastian Nystrom will succeed Alberto Torres as new Head of the Meego team at Nokia. Alberto left the company when Nokia announced the partnership with Microsoft at MWC in February and so Sebastian has now been appointed to take over. Nokia has also announced that a Meego Developer Edition will become available for the Nokia N900. More details after the break.
