With Ovi Maps you can now get involved by exploring and sharing ‘Good Things’ across the globe, such as where you spotted a famous actor or where to get the best local food. You can also browse everyone else’s good things and make them your favourite, and even sync them with your device.
The Nokia Beta Labs have just announced that they have released an “Ovi Mail Setup” application for a wide range of S60 devices. The application allows you to sign-up for an Ovi Mail account directly from your S60 device. If you already have an Ovi account it will provision Ovi Mail and configure the email client on the device. It also installs a handy icon in the Installations folder for easy access to Ovi Mail. This is not an email client and you will continue using the existing email client on your device. If you’re already successfully using Ovi Mail on your device you don’t need to install this.
The Nokia E75 comes with the same 3.2MP autofocus camera as the Nokia E71, and so I thought I’d put the two to the test to see which prospers. Both devices come with a single LED flash and the E75 has a focal length on 3.7mm compared to the 3.8mm of the E71. Other than that single millimeter the specs are completely identical, so the results should be quite interesting.
