Earlier last month, Nokia announced its plans to acquire Motally Inc., a mobile analytics service enables developers and publishers to optimize the development of their mobile applications through increased understanding of how users engage. Today Nokia confirmed that it has completed this acquisition. The service offering is planned to be adapted for Qt, Symbian, MeeGo and Java developers.

Last week, the kind people over at WOMWorld sent us the much anticipated invite to attend the worlds biggest Nokia event – Nokia World 2010. This year Nokia World is in London, at the International Convention Centre ExCel, and will commence on Tuesday 14 September over two days. Nokia has collaborated with a some big names over the last couple of months, with likes of Intel and Microsoft recently hopping aboard the mothership, in an aim to strengthen its provision of devices and services. The latest organisation to be targeted by the mobile phone giants is Yahoo!.

Nokia has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Novarra Inc. Novarra is a privately-held company based in Chicago, and is the provider of a mobile browser and service platform. Novarra will now become an owned subsidiary of Nokia, and this technology will be used by Nokia to deliver enhanced Internet experiences on Nokia mobile devices.
