Myriad Group AG today announced the launch of Myriad Alien Dalvik, which enables Android apps to run on non-Android platforms. Myriad Alien Dalvik will commercially become available later this year on the Meego platform, with more operating systems to follow. Nokia has today leaked a newer version of it’s very popular Symbian^3 powered Nokia N8, which sports 32GB of built in storage. The Nokia N8 32GB was mentioned in a newsletter sent out today regarding popular apps for the device. With the added option of additional storage via the Micro SD option, you can now bump this powerhouse up to 64 GB. Plenty of storage for all that HD gaming and videos. Hit the jump to find out more.

The Nokia N8 has today received its new PR 1.1 firmware update, taking it up to v13.0.16. This PR 1.1 also recently became available for the Nokia C7 last week, and its nice to see universal updates become available for the Symbian^3 platform. The Nokia C6-01 will also set to receive this same update. The new firmware should be available for most of you right now, although it may take a while for it to become available to everyone.
