Nokia today announced that it has decided to pull the plug on its Ovi Music Unlimited service in most regions due to poor uptake. It seems the service never really picked up globally, however the service that lets you eat all you can has been successful in certain regions, and therefore will continue to operate there. Ovi Music’s Adam Mirabella explains the changes in the short video after the break.
Existing customers will have uninterrupted access to the music library until their subscriptions finish, and they will be able to keep their music downloads. Ovi Music itself will also continue to operate as normal.Tags | Breaking News, DRM, FREE, Industry, Music, Nokia, Ovi, Ovi Music, Ovi Music Unlimited, Press Release, Video
